From October 18th to 20th, the City of London and the London Fire Brigade will be hosting the WRC 2012 (World Rescue Challenge) in London, UK.
Along with the upcoming Olympic Games, the City of London has prepared an amazing event that, for some experts, would be the best challenge ever made in the history of the WRC. This year the challenge will be based on ¨Vehicular Extrication.¨ More than 20 teams from around the globe will challenge real life scenarios with different levels of complexity to test their abilities and to earn the title of top rescuers.
Several members of the CIRO who also belong to the RDSAR (Red Deer County Technical Rescue Task Force) will attend this event to demonstrate different rescue skill sets including rope, water and collapse structure rescue.
